Like it or not Fatcow will require you to change your FTP and control panel password every year. If you have a number of remote web cams sending information to your website regularly, they will all need to be changed The administrative time on your part to change all the client computers can easily exceed the value of using Fatcow.

I called for my Jumpstart call and FatCow's rep took me through everything I had to know plus he answered all my questions. I thought I might have made a mistake choosing Fat Cow - it was more complicated than I thought. FatCow team made me feel that I did make the right choice and will have knowledgeable support when I need it. I have a customer service/HR background (not tech!) and FatCow's rep was a great example of what great customer service is.

If you care about environment FatCow is one of the top choices to host your web site with! Besides being green company they do giveaways to their customer base and contribute even more to saving the environment. As I see it its not about price always but about being responsible company as well. This is why I host with FatCow. And the great part about it is that their prices are competitive and a hosting package has everything I need or can find with other hosts. Why would you host with non-green host if you can host with FatCow?

Whether I have a question about my domain, or site builder, or even some marketing tips I can get help from their team. As a small business owner, who is trying to establish web presence a low cost, I can use any help I can get. And I think I can get the most from FatCow.

Fat Cow's automated installations are jaw- droppingly easy to use. I create and sell CMS/Joomla! websites using Fat Cow's unlimited hosting plan and it has been a very profitable experience with Fat Cow. I do have to note that the overall speed of Fat Cow's hosting plan leaves something to be desired when it comes to load time for scripts - mainly in Joomla! / MySQL installations. Otherwise - Fat Cow is the only hosting choice that makes sense to my business.

The green aspect of the company is just a bonus. Although their software is very user friendly, I am less experienced than others. Every time I called Tech Support, I easily reached someone - online chat was great too. They were always really helpful and the follow up was excellent. Couldn't be happier....especially for the price.

Of all the companies I deal with on the internet for service help, FatCow has always been the best. I actualy get someone that answers the phone when I call, and there is always a person at the other end willing to help.

I signed up for a basic ipage package and I am very disappointed! I had to cancel within several hours of signing up because I could not pull the page up to create my website. After several calls to customer support, I was still unable to use and access the ipage because their servers are unavailable. Also, I signed up for some extra benefits at around $12/yr each including identify theft protection, security protection, etc which amounted to about $55. I found out after they charged me that these fees were NOT refundable and they only refunded me a portion of what they charged me. Customer support attempted to help me but they didn't seem to know how to do that, though they tried. I waited 15 minutes on the phone for support.

I've hosted many sites using a variety of hosts over the years. The only time I've ever been "hacked" into was with FatCow - not once, but twice in less than a six-month period. My account was suspended with virtually no notice, and it's a hassle to get it reinstated. While they gave me general guidance on removing bad files and preventing it from happening again, it was beyond difficult to get anything that specifically addressed my situation such as the type of files that are vulnerable, etc. When I asked customer support for details, I was told I'd be sent an e-mail "very soon" with information, and that if I checked my e-mail, it was probably already there. (It wasn't.) I've been a customer for less than a year, so I'm not sure how much of a "fluke" this is. Having said that, online support has been fairly prompt and responsive when I've had other sorts of issues and questions. Aside from the "phishing" concerns, I've been content.

Usually I tend to post reviews for product or service when it really stinks and I want to warn people to stay away from it. This time I actually would like to share my positive experience with FatCow. Over the years FatCow has been a great host for me. Even they grew a lot recently they still treat customers with great respect and attention. My credit card has been blocked recently, so my domain renewal couldn’t go through. I didn’t realize what the problem was until I call FatCow support. The agent explained the situation, walked me through credit card info update and was on the phone with me until I got conformation that my domain got renewed. This kind of support I would like to get from every service provider.

FatCow was extremely helpful. The agent Luke helped my husband set up his fatcow acct (eaglemetric.com) earlier in the year & my husband raved about him & made sure i talked to luke again for my own website (taffyfin.com). we hope his supervisor will be able to see this survey & how impressed we were with luke. one thing i can think of for improvement - when i 1st called & tried to get connected to luke w/o having his extension #, it was rather difficult to bypass the person who took my call - he kept wanting to handle my business & ended up taking me down a wrong path of sorts until i had to find luke's # and have him sort things out. thank you, we love fatcow!

One thing that I know from my experience – every web host has its own issues and some problems from time to time. That’s the reality – hardware breaks, outages happen, software might have some glitches, etc. FatCow is no exception. But when something like that happens I want my host to be responsive, helpful and vigorous in solving the problem. Also, I like the fact that when I call them someone answers the phone in America. For some reason it gives me additional piece of mind that my problem or concern will be understood correctly and addressed in timely manner

Every single representative I've ever worked with from FatCow has been just incredible! I don't know about their training program but it is effective. I will, do, and have recommended FatCow to everyone I know! There are so many reasons to use FatCow but their service model sets a new industry standard. I was so thankful when I found FatCow web hosting! I wasn't generating the foot traffic to my store and knew that I needed a website. But, I had NO technical background or design skills and was afraid I'd have to spend a fortune to get a website up and going. But with the site builder tools, it was so easy!! FatCow does a great job at hosting and communicating with their customers. Whenever there is going to be an outage or some kind of issue they message you so you aren't left out in the cold. And when I call in with a problem the agents are always very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm thankful to not get the run around like some other companies.

I found FatCow on the Consumer Report site as one of the top recommended web hosting sites for price and customer service. Their web building tools made building my website fairly easy, considering I had absolutely no experience, and every time I called tech support (which was a lot) I was helped by a friendly and knowledgeable associate. I also received encouragement along the way!
